WHAT WE DO

Since 2018, we have supported public schools in Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. Months before arriving to the community, we connect with a public school identified by our partnership with local fire departments through Firefighters Without Borders California. Before our arrival, we spend many hours communicating with the school director and teachers building relationships and assessing needs of the school community. We raise funds to purchase school supplies, healthy snacks and playground equipment for the school site. The supplies are then transported directly to the school. We arrive in the country shortly thereafter, and begin the process of school supply distribution, student and teacher needs assessment and curriculum development, and finally programming implementation.

We also serve our local Bay Area communities in need by the coordinated efforts of our Youth Ambassador, Maggie Arenas. She gathers other loving youth who are committed to making positive change and together they raise funds, prepare meals, and partner with our community based organizations to help them realize their goals in helping others in our community.
